These pieces are the Sumerian Djinn. The spirits of these djinns were found in a chunk of ice off the coast of Alaska where they had been frozen in time. Their powers are ancient and date back even further than the Sumerian peoples. These djinns are what gave the Sumerian people a lot of their powers and they were constantly being conjured by them.
