Bloody Good

This piece holds the resurrected spirit of one Thomas Blood.  He is the infamous Irishment and trickster who evaded the British government almost his entire life.  His many plots almost got him captures on more than several occasions, but the apex of his trickery came when he attempted to steal the Crown Jewels.  Somebody alerted the guards and Thomas and the people who helped him with the heist were captured.  Even after being caught he found a way to make things work for himself.  He refused to speak to anybody but the king and when his request was granted he became better off than he was before he tried to steal the jewels.  Charles II not only granted him a pardon but also awarded him a pension of 500 pounds a year, which in the 1600s was a lot of money!!
