Hercules obviously comes from a line of divinity. However, what most people don't know is that he can trace his roots back to Zeus. His mother was Alcmene, the daughter of Electryon, the king of Tiryns and Mycenae. Electryon was one of the sons of Perseus. Perseus was the son of Zeus. As such, it makes sense that Hercules would be of divine blood. What makes more sense is that his mother wanted to look after him. Prior to his leaving to complete his twelve labors, his mother gave him an amulet. This amulet was to bring him constant wealth so that way while he was on his journey he would not find himself in need.
Although not mentioned in history, this piece proved very valuable on his journey, especially since it was consecrated by his great-great-grandfather, Zeus. The wealth power in that amulet was unprecedented and despite history books painting another story, Hercules actually enjoyed great wealth during his lifetime. Recently we acquired this amulet and we are keeping it for obvious reasons. However, we have put the wealth-granting power in this piece. You would think that we'd be offering more for something of such a fine caliber. However, we can use the amulet to make more pieces if need be.
