This piece embodies the presence of one of the most prolific, versatile, and powerful goddesses to exist in the Egyptian Pantheon.  You know as well as I do that the Egyptians, however they came across them, had the most powerful assortment of gods and goddesses to call their own. These gods and goddesses lived in a realm apart, but their presence here on Earth influenced everything that happened on a daily basis from the weather, to pregnancy, to the harvest, to when the day ended and the night began.  These Egyptians gods and goddesses embody every type of power that there is know.  This is because they lived in the eternal life force, outside of the mortality that exists here on Earth.  The closest thing to this eternal life force that humanity has ever known exists in the bloodline.  This is not the bloodline of any person in particular, but a power that is found in the blood line of humans in general.  Unless you have activated these powers, which exist in all of our bloodlines, you will not have noticed that these powers even exist.

As Ra grew old, he became fearful of his enemies, both mortal and immortal.  There were those who became increasingly jealous of the powers that Ra exhibited and plotted against him to overthrow him and take them.  He took his concern to the goddess Hathor, which is one of the goddesses that he kept in his inner circle.  He explained his troubles to her and asked for her help.  Hathor took to the job with a vengeance and turned into the goddess Sekhmet.  This goddess is a wild, untamed goddess who takes the form of a lioness.  Eventually Hathor, asSekhmet became drunk with mortal blood.  She began to enjoy the killing and drinking the blood of humanity.  This is because of the afore mentioned power in the bloodline that I mentioned to you.  She became drunk with human blood, to the point that you could say she was in a blood lust-- something similar to what a vampire experiences, although was never this type of creature. When she partook of the blood and she was under the spell of the blood lust, she was able to use the power the was exhibited by the blood to create any power that she wanted.  Aside from this it was a physical rush for her, which took her straight through the wheat fields of Aanro, to the highest form of bliss.  You would think that the gods were automatically in this state of bliss, but this isn't the case.  Bliss, much like the highest forms of Heaven, were reserved for those mortals who suffered the tribulations of life and came out on the positive side of things. It was like a bad drug addiction for Hathor and she kept craving the bliss and power creation more and more.

Ra eventually became concerned for humankind and plotted to trick Sekhmet.  He mixed some ale with red paint.  Thinking it was human blood, Sekhmet drank it.  The ale intoxicatedSekhmet to the point where she transformed back into Hathor.  Even after the intoxication was over, the goddess remained in the form of Hathor.  She was remitted back into the circles of Ra and this is where she stayed for the rest of her divine presence.  As for the likeness and powers of Sekhmet, they became hidden, never to be heard from again.  They were eventually buried in a chamber of the pyramids that has been heavily rigged with traps, so that way it doesn't lure people into its powers.  I'm not even sure how they managed to pull this one out and when they did, how they managed to not fall victim to the intoxifying effect that this piece has on people.  The point is that Deedee won the bidding on this piece in one of the underground auctions that she attends.  I cannot tell you where the auction took place, but I will tell you that it was relatively local.

On one side of this piece, you notices that there are twin oracles.  These are replications of the goddess, Hathor.  Her oracles allow you to travel through the gates in order to be able to rightfully obtain the magic that this piece offers.  You must bond with your piece and get a feel for it before you will be allowed to pass through the gates in the realm of bliss.  Once inside the realm of Bliss, you will experience a changing effect as your, yourself, become the manifestation of Sekhmet, who is kept inside the green gem on the opposite side of this piece.  The purple part of the piece represents the actual realm of bliss itself.  In essence this is a Holy Trinity of powers, as it is three destiny pieces that are working together.  You will gain the transformation into Sekhmet and you will also gain the blood lust.  You will not be allowed to leave this realm while in this form, however.  What you will gain is the ability to create any power that you choose to create.  You will have already experienced Bliss by this point, because it is necessary in order to receive your transformation.  Again. when you becomeSekhmet you will be able to create any power that you want using the cocktail of alchemy powers that can be found in the blood line of humanity.

Essentially, when you use this piece you are given the ability to transform into Sekhmet, the lioness goddess.  This is after you experience the existence of your soul in the realm of bliss, where your mind will be enlightened and expanded to incorporate all things white light.  Once achieve this state, your mind will be given the ability to transform into the Goddess and you will then enter into the blood lust phase, where blood will be give to you and as you drink it, you will be able to create any power that you want.  As you create new powers, you will be able to save them in this piece, that way you can use them when you are transformed back into your mortal form.  You can only create one power at a time, but you can use this piece time and time again, so you can create as many powers as you want, or stay in the form of bliss as long as you would like.  This piece is truly powerful-- extremely powerful!!  It's also one of a kind, you will not find another like it!
